History[]
The Kingdom of Triaria, ruled by King Mercules and guided by the strategies of Valacan, is deeply scarred by its prolonged conflict with the Kingdom of Yggurle. The war was partly driven by the ambitions of certain nobles who sought to capture the elves of Yggurle, attracted not only by their powerful magic but also by their beauty. This has left Triaria in a long recovery phase. Although the war with Yggurle technically never ended, with no peace treaty signed, Triaria had to retreat due to stretched supply lines, leaving it in a state of suspended conflict with both Yggurle and Barcula, the kingdom situated between the two.
This ongoing tension, combined with the need to rebuild, has made Triaria cautious in its foreign policy. Surrounded by potentially hostile neighbors like Barcula and Lomaria, Triaria finds itself in a delicate position. Despite having a strong army, the kingdom is not yet ready for another open war, especially with the unexpected emergence of the Wedgefort fortress near its borders.
Sanctuary War[]
After the war with the Sanctuary, Triaria Kingdom faces significant turmoil. Barcula Kingdom, Lomaria Kingdom, and Yggurle Kingdom of the Trination have launched an invasion against Triaria as retaliation for their previous aggression. With the fall of the Holy Sidonia Empire, the situation for Triaria has become even more dire. Refugees are expected to flood neighboring countries, and the threat of Triaria being suppressed by its neighbors is growing. As the Trination presses on, the future of Triaria remains uncertain, with the kingdom potentially facing collapse or further subjugation due to its weakened state following the conflict with the Sanctuary.
