History[]
Sidonia maintains a deeply discriminatory view of non-human races, considering them inferior, except for dwarves, whom they tolerate because of their blacksmithing abilities. The increasing military and economic strength of Barcula and Lomaria, especially with the development of the Savage Lands and the construction of new fortifications, poses a significant threat to Sidonia's political and religious influence. The possibility of these nations opening independent trade routes and challenging Sidonia's control over trade and religious power is seen as a major concern for Sidonia's future.
Places of Interest[]
The Light God Church[]
The Light God Church is a religious organization that worships Anat, the Light God, believed to have created the world with a specific focus on Humans. According to their doctrine, Anat created the sea, sky, earth, and Humans in His own image. Animals, plants, and monsters were created to serve as nourishment for Humans. The creation of other races—Beastkin, Elves, and Dwarves—is viewed with disdain, as they are believed to have been created by a wicked god to undermine Anat's will.
The faith teaches that Humans are superior and have a divine duty to rule over other races. This belief in human supremacy has led to ideas of purging or subjugating non-human races, particularly those seen as created by evil forces.
The Light God Church operates within the Holy Sidonia Empire. It believes that Light attribute magic is sacred, given directly by Anat. It rejects its use in mundane products like Takumi’s purifying devices for toilets, considering them unworthy of sacred magic. The church’s main activity involves providing medical services such as recovery magic and curse removal in exchange for large donations to fund its operations.
Imperial Capital[]
The Imperial Capital of Divine Holy Sidonia Empire is a large town with a dark, gloomy atmosphere. Despite its large population, the city feels dispirited, with its people lacking vigor. The capital does not face the same monster threats as other nations due to the absence of monster nests within the country. It has strong walls for defense, but these are not as extensive as those in other kingdoms that face more monster threats. The capital’s farmland is productive, contributing to its high food output. However, the overall mood of the city remains bleak, with little energy from its inhabitants. The air is also filled with a dreadful stench, making the atmosphere even more unpleasant.
The capital is now in a state of turmoil due to ongoing Otherworldification. Once bustling with life, it is now largely deserted, resembling a ghost town. Many citizens have fled or been driven out, taking refuge in nearby camps, leaving only soldiers and a few church officials behind. Magical streetlights dimly light the main street. The area around the dungeon, now part of the capital’s transformation, is heavily guarded by soldiers. The situation is chaotic, with the town under heavy surveillance and few people left within.
Cathedral Dungeon[]
The dungeon, located in the heart of the Imperial Capital of the Holy Sidonia Empire, emerged due to the process of "Otherworldification" and is possibly linked to an Evil Spirit. Originally a place of magic and power, it has transformed into a dark, dangerous area, with an entrance resembling a cathedral, surrounded by dense mana that creates an unsettling atmosphere. While the size and contents of the dungeon remain unknown, it does not significantly affect the continent's Earth Vein. Its presence has altered the capital, giving it an eerie, deserted feel.
The dungeon consists of many floors, and as one ascends, the environment shifts from a cathedral-like structure to various settings such as forests and grasslands. In the initial levels, the predominant monsters are undead, such as skeletons, zombies, zombie dogs, and ghouls. These monsters grow stronger as one ascends, increasing mana density on higher levels.
On the 10th floor, a large metal gate leads to a room containing a powerful Orc King and his army, including Orcs, Orc Knights, Orc Mages, and an Orc General. This battle proves more challenging, suggesting this room is a sub-boss area. From the 11th floor onward, the dungeon returns to a cathedral-like atmosphere with stronger monsters, such as higher-ranking skeletons, wraiths, and living armor.
The dungeon also features deadly traps that become more lethal as one ascends. A "monster house" appears at one point, summoning various monsters like undead, insects, and goblins. During this battle, an ogre boss emerges, becoming the primary opponent, and is defeated after an intense fight.
Upon reaching the 20th floor, a large cathedral-like room filled with miasma and evil energy is found. Inside, Yamato, a hero who has been corrupted and transformed into a monstrous being, appears, accompanied by immortal Holy Knights. Yamato fights fiercely, but his monstrous form makes him vulnerable, and after a tough battle, he is defeated. The dungeon is finally destroyed after its core is shattered, causing the cathedral to collapse and the dungeon to disappear, eliminating the threat to the capital.

Relationships[]
Barcula Kingdom[]
Sidonia views Barcula's policy of racial harmony as problematic, as they consider races like beastkin, elves, and dwarves to be inferior. This concern is amplified by Barcula's military developments, particularly the construction of Wedgefort, a fortress city capable of repelling large armies. This poses a direct threat to Sidonia's influence in the region. Furthermore, Barcula's efforts to develop the Savage Lands and build additional fortresses could potentially open new trade routes that bypass Triaria, weakening Sidonia's economic power and control over the region.
Lomaria Kindgom[]
Like Barcula, Lomaria also implements policies of racial harmony that Sidonia finds unacceptable, particularly due to the inclusion of races like elves and beastkin. While Lomaria has only one fort near its borders, the growing strength of its defenses and the possibility of opening new trade routes that do not rely on Triaria are seen as a cause for concern. These developments threaten Sidonia's control over regional trade and its influence, especially if they create alternative routes for commerce with Samandor Kingdom.
Triaria Kingdom[]
Triaria plays a significant role for Sidonia due to its control over trade routes and military power. However, Sidonia is wary of the strengthening of neighboring nations, particularly Barcula and Lomaria, which could establish alternative trade routes that lessen the reliance on Triaria and undermine Sidonia's control. The war with Yggurle, which occurred 53 years ago, involved Triaria in an act of aggression, but was secretly orchestrated by Sidonia. The strengthening of Barcula and Lomaria represents a direct challenge to Triaria's dominance and, by extension, to Sidonia's regional hegemony.
Inhabitants[]
- Weibar - The Pope and true leader of Sidonia
- Elizabeth - She is the First Empress of Sidonia
- Kamui Unit - is a group of fanatics from the Holy Sidonia Empire, dedicated to eliminating those who do not follow the teachings of the Church of the God of Light. Recently, they attacked Takumi Iruma’s mansion due to his invention, the Purifier DM, which impacts the Church’s revenue by efficiently cleaning sewers, a task traditionally performed by priests who charged fees for their services. The attack was thwarted with Iruma and his allies’ help, capturing the intruders and binding them with a slave contract. After interrogation, it was revealed that the Kamui Unit acted because of the Church’s financial loss. This explains their aggressive pursuit of those who challenge religious authority. The Kamui Unit represents a threat to those who interfere with the Church's operations and revenue, acting to protect the interests of the faith.
