Freesia Sylphide is a character from the Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time series.
Appearance[]
Freesia has the timeless beauty typical of elves, with radiant golden hair and mesmerizing green eyes. Despite her true age, she appears to be in her early twenties due to the long lifespan and slow aging process of elves. Her facial features are delicate, and her presence is both graceful and regal, giving off the aura of a noblewoman. Freesia’s clothing is typically elegant, but she also often wears simple garments when at home, reflecting her role as a mother and wife.
Personality[]
Freesia is a loving and compassionate woman who deeply cares for her family. She is kind-hearted and gentle, but also strong-willed and protective regarding her children. She feels a great deal of sorrow over the fate of Sophia, her eldest daughter, and is troubled by the curse that has kept her separated from her family for so many years. Although Freesia tries to remain optimistic and supportive of Dante, her own grief often overwhelms her. She is particularly concerned about Sophia’s lost limbs and the curse that has plagued her.
History[]
Freesia was born into an influential Yggurle Kingdom family and raised to be a noblewoman. She married Dante von Sylphide and gave birth to two children, Sophia and Darphy. As the years went on, Freesia and Dante’s life became dominated by the mystery of Sophia’s disappearance and the curse she fell under. While Dante focused on ways to restore Sophia, Freesia remained hopeful and has often looked for solutions on her own. Despite their difficulties, Freesia has always been a steadying presence in the Sylphide household.
Relationships[]
Dante von Sylphide[]
Freesia loves Dante dearly, and they share a deep emotional bond. However, she is often concerned about his internal struggles and his obsession with their daughter’s fate. Together, they navigate the complex challenges of their family’s situation. While her husband may have officially been the head of the Sylphide household, she herself, due to her strength, was considered the 'shadow lord' and true head of the house because she had Dante under her thumb.
Sofia Sylphide[]
Freesia is heartbroken over the curse that has affected her daughter, Sophia. She is determined to help her in any way possible, even if it means seeking out powerful figures who might be able to restore Sophia’s lost limbs. Freesia’s maternal love for Sophia is unwavering. Sofia's strength reminds both her father and brother of Freesia.
Darphy von Sylphide[]
Freesia has a loving, though somewhat strained, relationship with her son Darphy. She understands his resentment towards Sophia but wishes he could empathize more with her plight. Freesia has hopes that Darphy will grow to accept his sister’s memory and the role she played in the family.
Powers & Abilities[]
Freesia is not a combatant like her husband, but she possesses heightened senses, agility, and a long life as an elf. She is skilled in the art of magic, particularly in healing spells, which she occasionally uses to help her family. Her ability to nurture and support her family through difficult times is perhaps her greatest strength.
